Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical in Lubbock, TX is seeking a full-time QA/QC Coordinator to support the development of QA standards, identify non-conformances, and oversee corrective actions.

The role involves maintaining QA records, reporting metrics, and coordinating inspections and audits across project stages. The position requires electrical construction knowledge, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to ensure installations meet specifications and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' electrical construction experience.
• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues.
• Maintains accurate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Reports quality performance metrics to management.
• Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages.
• Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time.
• Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.
