IES is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure electrical components and systems meet stringent quality and safety standards. Based in Batavia, Ohio, you will inspect, test, and document findings throughout production, collaborating with engineering to resolve issues and support customer testing as needed.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, attention to detail, and strong teamwork. A shift on 2nd shift (2pm-10:15pm) with a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Attention to detail and strong visual acuity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production floor and completed units for quality adherence.
• Perform point-to-point testing of electrical wiring per work instructions.
• Sign in/out gauges and maintain calibration records.
• Assist in customer testing procedures (sound, run, and water tests).
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to guide inspection processes.
• Document final findings accurately and completely.
