Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure our products meet strict quality and safety standards. You will inspect electrical components and test systems throughout production, ensuring compliance with customer specs and company standards.

Based in Batavia, Ohio, this 2nd shift role offers hands-on QA on the production floor, calibration of gauges, and collaboration with engineering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring and ability to read electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Attention to detail and strong visual acuity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on the production floor and completed units to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Perform point-to-point testing of electrical wiring, ensuring proper connections as per inspection work instructions.
• Sign in/out gauges for production use and maintain their calibration records.
• Assist in customer testing procedures, including sound, run, and water tests.
• Maintain inventory of QA-related materials such as zip ties, tags, and documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address customer-related issues or questions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to guide inspection processes.
• Perform final inspections and document findings accurately.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager or designee.
