Job summary

Eaton Corporation in El Paso is seeking a QLT Incoming Quality Inspector on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on verifying wiring, components, program controllers, and conducting electrical testing of switchboard products to ensure quality and on-time order fulfillment.

You will inspect, test with Hi-Pot, torque wrench, and other devices, document results, troubleshoot non-conformances, and work with production teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months manufacturing, production, or military experience OR a degree in a technical discipline
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and Hi-Pot switchboard products on all lines per instructions and meet safety and quality requirements.
• Perform electrical testing using Hi-Pot, continuity, and other devices; verify function of switches and circuit breakers.
• Document inspections and revisions, communicate non-conformances, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
