General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) in Poway, CA is seeking a Second Shift Electrical Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of electronic cables, PCBs, and assemblies against engineering drawings and parts lists.

You will maintain inspection records, use hand tools and testing devices, support root-cause actions with cross-functional teams, and may lead a small team while adhering to safety and DoD clearance requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or technical training; 2+ years electronics inspection experience.
• Familiar with IPC 610 standards and soldering inspection.
• AOI programming preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and MIL standards.

Responsabilidades

• Visually inspects boards, cables, and assemblies; performs in-process and final tests.
• Verifies records of tests and inspections.
• Inspects installed equipment into control shelters.
• Performs source inspections; interfaces with customers' inspectors as needed.
• Interface with manufacturing, quality engineering, software engineering, and procurement for corrective actions.
• May lead inspection procedures and provide guidance to staff.
• Observe safety and regulatory requirements; may work extended hours.
