Job summary

Raytheon Sensor Test Solutions (STS) in Tucson, AZ, seeks an onsite Electrical Prototyping Fabrication Technician to join the Test Equipment Engineering Directorate. You will fabricate and test complex prototype electrical assemblies, lead colleagues, and ensure producible designs across multiple projects.

The role requires extensive fabrication experience, the ability to read drawings and schematics, and the capacity to work in a highly secure, on-site environment in Tucson.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with 10+ years in engineering environment.
• Experience fabricating electrical assemblies across multiple areas.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, maintain, modify, and repair complex prototype electrical assemblies.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, 3D models, and specifications.
• Lead technicians in layout and fitment of various assemblies.
• Adapt methods to test, analyze, and troubleshoot new hardware.
• Test, inspect, and prove-in complex prototype electrical assemblies.
• Lead design reviews to validate producible prototypes.
• Assess designs for producibility, maintainability, safety, and reliability.
• Communicate build concerns to customers and collaborate on improvements.
• Work in closed/proprietary/classified areas without personal devices.
