Job summary

The Hoffman Family of Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead PLC/SCADA/BMS installations by organizing project elements and coordinating with engineering, programming, and operations teams. This on-site role requires collaboration with Admin, customers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, material orders, and project billing while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize construction projects by gathering docs, reviewing timelines, and coordinating with engineering/programming teams.
• Hire electrical subcontractors and maintain subcontract documentation.
• Direct subcontractors, communicate timelines, and ensure proper installation methods.
• Order project materials, coordinate with panel builders, and schedule deliveries.
• Collaborate with Admin and customers to bill for project work and manage invoicing.
• Communicate project progress with Engineering, Technicians, and Ops; attend jobsite meetings.
• Support startup activities and turnover documentation; assist with close-out and owner training.
• Monitor labor costs and support corrective actions to meet financial goals.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical/mechanical installation and project management practices.
• Mentor less senior PMs and contribute to team knowledge.
• Travel up to 75% to support high-profile customers across regions.
