Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial, mission critical and industrial construction projects in the Dallas area from kickoff to closeout, with responsibility for schedules, budgets and field support.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction accounting, procurement, document control and safety compliance, plus the ability to lead teams, coordinate with owners and subcontractors, and protect project margins.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of electrical project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial and/or healthcare construction projects.
• Strong understanding of schedules, contract documents and project coordination.
• Working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred; master's degree a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead each project from kickoff through closeout and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Own budgets, cost tracking, forecasts and progress reports; manage billing and change orders.
• Coordinate procurement with subcontractors, equipment suppliers and field teams; ensure current drawings and takeoffs.
• Ensure timely handling of project documents: permits, submittals, RFIs, bonding, insurance and correspondence.
• Lead meetings with owners, general contractors and design professionals; drive issue resolution and project closeout.
