Job summary

Cava Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cost forecasting for large-scale electrical construction projects and drive profitability. You will manage bids, schedules, and change orders, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires strong leadership, site oversight, risk assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to align estimates with timelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
• Experience on large scale electrical construction projects of $1M or more.
• Experience managing a workforce of 100+ employees in industrial environments.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present detailed bids, and manage schedules, milestones, financial tracking, and change orders across materials, labor, heavy equipment, overhead, contingencies, and profit margins.
• Lead review and analysis of project documents including blueprints, technical specifications, and site conditions to fully comprehend project scope.
• Establish schedules with client input and set milestones for timely information flow and coordination.
• Schedule and sequence work, communicate action items, monitor manpower requirements, and maintain profit variance within targets.
• Own all phases of the project life cycle from initiation through closeout.
• Perform risk assessments to identify cost overruns and savings opportunities and recommend optimizations that do not compromise safety, quality, or compliance.
• Conduct job site visits, track progress, and adjust scope based on changes or unforeseen conditions.
• Build strong client relationships and work with multidisciplinary teams to align estimates with construction timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Promote and enforce safety as a priority within Cava Electric’s management philosophy.
