Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Project Manager with 3–5 years of commercial electrical construction experience to own more of the project lifecycle. This leadership role focuses on healthcare, commercial fit-outs, and corporate projects across NYC.

You will manage budgets, schedules, drawings and coordination with clients, general contractors and field teams, advancing from preconstruction through closeout.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical construction/project management experience.
• Commercial electrical contracting experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare and/or commercial fit-out project experience desirable.
• Experience with major corporate or telecommunications customers such as AT&T, Verizon or similar environments is a plus.
• Experience with multimillion-dollar commercial electrical projects.
• Understanding of electrical drawings, specifications and field operations.
• Exposure to project budgets, forecasting, change orders and cost tracking.
• Experience working with general contractors, customers and field teams.
• NYC construction experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Assist with and increasingly own project budgets, cost forecasting and change orders.
• Manage project schedules, scope, procurement and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, general contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Work closely with superintendents and field leadership throughout construction.
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Track project costs, schedules and outstanding items.
• Support billing, change management and project closeout.
• Coordinate material and equipment requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders.
