Job summary

Gpac is assisting a local electrical contractor in Houston in finding an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, and institutional projects from inception to completion. The role entails managing budgets, schedules, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.

You will review drawings and contracts, ensure safety and quality standards, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor.
• Proven track record managing commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor oversight.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Stable work history; willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Monitor job progress and provide leadership to field personnel.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain efficiency and profitability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
