Job summary

gpac is recruiting an Electrical Project Manager for a local electrical contractor in the Kansas City area. The role oversees commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from kickoff to handoff, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will develop schedules, budgets, and forecasts, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and manage documentation from RFIs to change orders. A strong leadership and communication track record is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and project scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Stable work history.
• Proficiency with project management software is a plus.
