Job summary

GPAC is recruiting on behalf of a local electrical contractor in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, and institutional projects from start to finish.

You will develop schedules and budgets, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, review drawings and contracts, and ensure safety and quality standards while guiding field teams to on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and project scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Monitor job progress and provide leadership to field personnel.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain efficiency and profitability.
