Job summary

gpac is recruiting for a local electrical contractor in the Sacramento area to hire an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain schedules and budgets, coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, review drawings and contracts, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical PM experience with an electrical contractor.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Monitor job progress and provide leadership to field personnel.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain efficiency and profitability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
