Job summary

Prism Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee financials, scheduling, and coordination on electrical construction projects in Texas. You will work with Superintendents to manage budgets, submittals, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery.

You will build and analyze production schedules, track labor/material costs, and maintain strong client and internal communication to support successful project closeout.

Qualifications

• Proven people management, process management, and performance management skills.
• Knowledge of financial software, accounting practices, change order pricing, and billings.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills.
• Proficiency in information analyzation and budget setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial reporting, labor/material costs, and changes for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with Superintendent/CAD drawings to ensure proper installation.
• Create and maintain project budgets and schedules of values.
• Provide monthly financial projections and progress billing for projects.
• Submit and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders throughout projects.
• Track costs, procurement, and material buyouts; monitor cash flow.
