Job summary

Jobot in Maryland seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial electrical projects from conception to completion. You will prepare cost estimates, coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Strong leadership and communication are essential. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of electrical PM experience, plus knowledge of electrical codes and safety

• 3+ years of experience in electrical project management in the commercial sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects, including design, planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Prepare detailed project cost estimates and proposals, utilizing expertise in electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and issues addressed.
• Monitor project progress to keep on schedule and within budget; adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors; negotiate contracts.
