Job summary

Branch is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager in Roanoke, VA to lead onsite execution, scheduling, budgeting and safety across multi-million-dollar projects. You will collaborate with project leadership, owners representatives, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on-time completion and strong financial results.

This role requires 5+ years of electrical project management, an associate degree in a related field, proficiency with P6 and MS Office, and a proven ability to lead

Qualifications

• Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of Electrical Project Management experience on site work with projects over $20M+.
• Experience using P6 scheduling software, MS Office, Financial software and/or Project Management software.
• Must have PM experience running multiple projects simultaneously.
• Has managed multiple site projects.
• Proven experience managing project teams to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing, training, and mentoring the PE staff.
• Assist and advise on business functions including workforce management, contracting strategies, and financial management.
• Support preconstruction activities including design-build procurement.
• Develop new business opportunities relative to a client or group of clients and foster positive owner relationships.
• Responsible for all aspects of the project’s contract management, planning, scheduling, budget, quality, safety, and employee development.
• Responsible for profit margins and fully manages all financial aspects of assigned construction project(s).
• Draft and execute subcontracts and purchase orders with Superintendent.
• Review and approve monthly subcontractor pay requisitions.
• Prepare and review payment requisitions, communicate changes, and report project financial status monthly.
• Develop an effective plan and schedule with the Superintendent to meet project goals.
• Adhere to contract terms, assure quality, minimize costs, and promote safety.
