Job summary

Great Southwestern Construction, Inc., a subsidiary of MYR Group, seeks a Project Manager responsible for cost estimates and general operational oversight of electrical construction projects. The role requires coordinating schedules, communicating with clients, and leading project teams on site in Texas.

You will prepare complete cost estimates for labor and materials, monitor budgets, review change orders, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project construction schedules.
• Prepare complete cost estimates (labor and material) for projects within set deadlines.
• Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects.
• Review and monitor job costs versus budgets.
• Prepare look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports and billing information.
• Coordinate meetings, schedule updates, and deliverables with clients and teams.
• Assist in change orders and project lifecycle tracking.
• Attend field walk-downs with customers and subcontractors.
