Job summary

MYR Group, Inc. via High Country Line Construction, seeks an Assistant Project Mgr I to assist in overseeing electrical construction projects, delivering results for clients, and helping to generate profit while building lasting client relationships.

The role involves coordinating with crews, schedulers, vendors, and other departments; studying bid specs; and preparing look-ahead documents and progress reports while ensuring safety policies are followed. Travel to job sites may occur.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Estimator or Project Engineer in electrical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field; combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in a wide range of service management duties.
• Study bid specifications and drawings carefully.
• Communicate continuously with clients.
• Deliver on projects in a timely manner.
• Prepare look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate closely with crews, superintendents, and other departments.
• Ensure safety procedures and policies are followed.
