Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Project Manager – Electrical to lead NEC‑compliant electrical projects from planning through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships while coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams across multiple states onsite.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, 5+ years of experience, and strong NEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial electrical projects
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools
• Procore Certification, PMP, or OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Certification preferred
• Skilled in electrical system design and understanding of AHJ approval processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail‑oriented and organized; able to travel regularly to construction sites across multiple states

Responsibilities

• Manages electrical projects from planning through completion to ensure quality and profitability
• Develops strong client relationships built on trust, reliability, and open communication
• Identifies client needs and delivers NEC‑compliant solutions that support current and future requirements
• Oversees scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and daily field activities
• Leads communication with clients, suppliers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment
• Coordinates drawing development, load calculations, and submission of required documents to AHJs
• Supports negotiation with clients and suppliers as needed
• Ensures all work complies with Z‑Modular Power safety and quality standards
• Promotes ethical practices and consistent project performance
