Job summary

Central Mechanical Construction Co. Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical projects from conception to completion.

The role demands strong construction management expertise, superb time management, and deep knowledge of electrical systems and codes to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and regulations. Ideal candidates will read blueprints, coordinate with contractors, manage budgets, and uphold NEC standards while guiding teams to deliver quality results

Qualifications

• Journeyman License (Preferred).
• Experience in electrical project management within construction.
• Strong knowledge of plan reading, construction management, and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with codes/regulations in construction projects.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Strong analytical skills for estimating and budgeting.
• Ability to lead, mentor and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of electrical project development: estimating, planning, execution, and final delivery.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation.
• Oversee site activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on schedules and resources.
• Conduct construction estimating to prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to the NEC.
• Prepare and present forecasts with corrective actions as needed.
• Implement design strategies meeting client requirements while following standards.
