Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Project Manager – Electrical to lead NEC-compliant electrical projects valued between $1M and $6M. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client relations while coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

This is a full-time, onsite role with travel across multiple states. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and NEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Familiarity with Procore, MS Office, and scheduling tools.
• PM certification (PMP) or OSHA 30-Hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages electrical projects from planning through completion to ensure quality and profitability
• Develops strong client relationships built on trust and reliability
• Delivers NEC-compliant solutions that meet current and future needs
• Oversees scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and field activities
• Leads communication with clients, suppliers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Coordinates drawing development, load calculations, and AHJ submissions
• Supports negotiation with clients and suppliers
• Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards
• Promotes ethical practices and consistent project performance
