Job summary

D&S Electrical in Kent, WA is seeking a Project Manager to plan, execute, and evaluate commercial electrical projects. The role requires coordinating a project team, maintaining schedules and budgets, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining proactive client and vendor communications throughout the project lifecycle.

The position is based in our Kent, WA office with travel to project sites; immediate full-time opening.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical project management required.
• Degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Solid knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering; accounting principles.
• LEAN principles including the Last Planner System is preferred.
• Capable of electrical estimating to produce change orders and assists with estimates.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software; experience with Accubid Estimating, Procore and Bluebeam Revu preferred.
• Knowledge of integrated job cost systems to budget and report on final costing.
• Experience with building critical path schedules and design-build delivery models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure work and develop clientele.
• Manage project development from initiation to closure.
• Be accountable for project results and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and timing.
• Coordinate with design, owner, and project team throughout the life of the project.
• Communicate expectations clearly to the project team.
• Facilitate collaboration with design, owner, and vendors.
• Resolve issues and manage changes with proper documentation per contract.
