Job summary

D&S, an experienced electrical contractor, is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from initiation through closure. This role operates from our Kent, WA office but will require site mobility to project locations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction while coordinating with the Project Executive, subcontractors, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has electrical project management experience, a Construction Management or Electrical Engineering degree

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical project management.
• Degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Solid knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
• LEAN principles including the Last Planner System is preferred.
• Must be capable of electrical estimating to produce job change orders and assist with new estimates.

Responsibilities

• Procure work and develop clientele.
• Manage project development from initiation to closure.
• Be accountable for project results.
• Work with all members of the project team to outline scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
• Clearly communicate expectations to the project team.
• Facilitate communications between design, owner and the project team.
• Resolve issues and solve problems throughout the life of the project.
• Manage changes to scope with proper documentation per the contract.
