Job summary

Universal Electrical Service, Inc. in Souderton, PA seeks a hands-on Electrical Estimator/Project Manager to join the team. The role centers on estimating and preconstruction to support successful project execution.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman background and has transitioned into estimating, project coordination, or management, coordinating with clients, general contractors, vendors, and field teams to deliver on time and within budget while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of electrical project management and/or estimating experience.
• Strong field background in commercial electrical work.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Experience with change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical projects from award to closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, general contractors, vendors, and subs.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and manpower requirements.
• Coordinate with field leadership and customers.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement.
• Monitor costs and provide updates to leadership.
• Assist with billing and project financial reporting.
• Ensure safety, quality, and profitability targets.
• Oversee project closeout and turnover.
