Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator to join a well-established local electrical contractor in Cleveland. The role covers estimating and project management for local commercial and industrial projects, with involvement from winning work through project completion.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical construction, reads electrical drawings, and can manage budgets, schedules and change orders across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience in electrical estimating and project management.
• Strong commercial/industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick or similar.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids.
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and profitability.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation.
• Coordinate with GCs, customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Work with Superintendents and Foremen in the field.
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful execution.
