Job summary

gpac is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a well-established local electrical contractor in Fort Wayne, IN. The role focuses on ownership of local commercial/industrial projects from contract through completion.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, plan reviews, and coordinating with GC's, customers, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain schedules and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience
• Previous Electrical Project Manager experience
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background
• Strong understanding of electrical construction
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to keep projects on schedule
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Monitor project costs and financial performance
• Attend project meetings and maintain customer relationships
• Help resolve project issues and keep work moving forward
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from contract through completion.
