Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager/Estimator for a well-established local electrical contractor serving commercial and industrial markets in the Cleveland area. This role combines estimating and project management from win to completion, with involvement across the full project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical construction, strong knowledge of drawings and specs, and proficiency with estimating software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience in both electrical estimating and project management.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and construction methods.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids.
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen in the field.
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful project execution.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of electrical construction who enjoys being involved throughout the entire process, from winning the work through project completion.
