Job summary

GPAC is recruiting an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator for a well-established local electrical contractor serving the Redwood City area. The role combines estimating and project management on commercial and industrial projects, with involvement from winning work through completion.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of electrical construction experience, is proficient in relevant estimating software, and can coordinate across clients, subs, and vendors while overseeing budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating and project management experience.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids.
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen in the field.
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful project execution.
