Electrical Project Manager- Columbus, OH

We deliver our services through the full lifecycle, including design build and new construction, major repairs and replacements and ongoing preventive services. DeBra-Kuempel is wholly owned by EMCOR Group, Inc., a national provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services, including planning, consulting, and operations and maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To best meet the needs of our Organization and Customers, the ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from start to finish
  • Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work
  • Prepare scope letters and proposals
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are understood and met
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, implementing corrective measures when necessary
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of progress and issues

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the construction industry
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management tools and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a proactive, positive, team-based style
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to potential issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is a plus but not required

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
