Greenwood Heating and Home Services in the Seattle area is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead field supervision and ensure workmanship meets state codes and company standards.

The role requires a Journeyman License (02 or higher), strong customer-facing skills, and the ability to train and mentor electricians while coordinating with HVAC and plumbing teams. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and bonuses, based out of Tukwila with travel to nearby locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field technicians to ensure work meets Greenwood standards and codes.
• Perform quality control inspections for electrical codes and best practices.
• Provide on-the-spot troubleshooting and guidance for complex issues.
• Mentor and train technicians in the field.
• Manage smaller admin tasks: review work orders, update schedules, field reports.
• Respond to customer questions during active jobs to boost satisfaction.
• Provide status updates to the Electrical Manager and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with HVAC and plumbing teams on multi-service projects.
• Promote safety, professionalism, and accountability in the field.
• Lead by example and maintain high morale among field staff.

Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary:

Greenwood Heating and Home Services is looking for a Electrical Project Manager to join our team. Journeyman License (02 or higher) is required. We are looking for someone who believes in taking care of customers and fellow employees. We are looking for a driven and open minded individual who is looking to do more than field work: someone who enjoys training the future electricians of the world, problem solving and navigating challenging situations, and educating customers on their home's electrical systems.

Wage / Hours:

This position is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position. Our business hours are 7am-6pm. Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and may exceed 40 hours per week during busier times of the year. Compensation plan can be discussed during interview. Quarterly bonus plan plus hourly.

Location:

This position is performed on the road in the greater Seattle area. Our service range is: North: Everett Area, South: Federal Way Area, East: North Bend.

We have two locations, one in Everett and one in Tukwila. Role is primarily based out of Tukwila location, but foreman must be able to travel to other location on an occasional basis.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Work with field team and office team to ensure completion of electrical jobs up to Greenwood standards as well as Washington State and NEC code.

• Assist with ordering material for jobs, training electricians, job site lay out visits, and other various tasks.

• Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond knowledge base. Work with Electrical Manager to ensure proper permits, load calculations, and clean work is being performed.

Job Requirements / Skills:

The Electrical Project Manager will act as a key leader in the electrical department, focusing on field supervision while supporting the Electrical Manager in daily operations. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on-site while handling smaller tasks to free up the Electrical Manager for strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Field Supervision

• Oversee technicians on job sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.

• Perform quality control inspections to confirm adherence to electrical codes and best practices.

• Provide on-the-spot troubleshooting and guidance for complex or urgent issues.

• Act as a mentor for technicians, offering field training and skill development as needed.

Task Management

• Handle smaller administrative and operational tasks, such as reviewing work orders, updating schedules, and preparing field reports.

• Respond to customer questions or concerns during active jobs to enhance satisfaction and address issues promptly.

• Provide status updates to the Electrical Manager and recommend solutions for recurring challenges.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Work closely with the HVAC and plumbing teams on multi-service projects to ensure coordination and timely completion.

• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability in the field.

• Lead by example, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale among field staff.

Additional tasks to be added as position and department grow.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Electrical License Required, 02 or higher

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.

-Must be able to work on ladders and drive a company vehicle.
