Job summary

GPAC is assisting a well-established local electrical contractor in Houston to hire an Electrical Project Manager who can own local commercial and industrial projects from contract through completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and coordination with general contractors, customers, and subcontractors while ensuring safety and on-time delivery on a strong backlog of local work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Previous Electrical Project Manager experience.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to keep projects on schedule.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Project Manager to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from contract through completion. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to manage meaningful local projects with an established contractor rather than constantly traveling to different markets.
