Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for a local contractor role in the Taunton, MA area. The successful candidate will develop accurate and competitive bids for local commercial and industrial projects, review drawings and bid documents, and perform material and labor takeoffs.

You will work with Project Managers and leadership to manage multiple estimates, ensure timely bids, and help transition awarded work to project teams. Strong local market knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of the local electrical construction market is a plus.

• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.

This is a great opportunity for an estimator who wants to work with a local contractor and focus on projects in the local market rather than constantly chasing work across different regions.
