GPAC is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager for a well-established local electrical contractor in the Kansas City area. You will own large, complex electrical projects, manage budgets and contracts, and lead planning and execution to ensure profitability.

The role emphasizes local market focus with growth potential, strong bonus opportunities, and a supportive team environment. Limited travel and a solid backlog of projects are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Strong Senior Project Manager experience.
• Extensive commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Experience managing large and complex electrical projects.
• Strong financial and contract management experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and complex electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability.
• Lead project planning and execution.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and contract requirements.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents, Foremen, customers, General Contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project financial performance and costs.
• Maintain strong customer and contractor relationships.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and profitably.
