Job summary

GPAC is recruiting an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager for a well-established local electrical contractor in California. You will own large, complex electrical projects, manage budgets and schedules, and lead teams to deliver profitable, safe outcomes in the local market.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical construction and strong leadership, communication, and contract-management skills. Local travel is limited; a strong backlog supports long-term growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Strong Senior Project Manager experience.
• Extensive commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Experience managing large and complex electrical projects.
• Strong financial and contract management experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and complex electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability.
• Lead project planning and execution.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and contract requirements.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents, Foremen, customers, General Contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project financial performance and costs.
• Maintain strong customer and contractor relationships.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and profitably.
