Job summary

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial electrical construction.
  • Proven experience managing commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects, from planning through final closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Lead client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and contract administration.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support project milestones.
  • Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and overall financial performance.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or profitability.
  • Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, and project partners.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers while supporting their professional growth.
