Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead in Bridgewater, NJ. This role oversees multi-discipline design teams through all phases of building projects, from feasibility to detailed design, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines align with client requirements.

The candidate will leverage AutoCAD and Revit for design, perform electrical calculations, and coordinate with clients, PMs, and code officials to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering/design experience in the building design industry.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit; proficiency with electrical design tools and codes.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Lead for all project phases (feasibility to detailed design).
• Break down project into tasks with PM to determine scope, budget, staffing.
• Prepare scope of work for design based on client reviews.
• Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems.
• Review and evaluate operation of existing systems.
• Coordinate with code officials and other design professionals.
