Job summary

Jack Hornsby Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare complete electrical estimates for commercial and industrial projects, reviewing plans, specs, and bid documents. You'll perform quantity takeoffs, build competitive proposals, meet with customers to understand project goals, and develop solutions while cultivating strong vendor relationships.

You will stay current on labor trends, material pricing, and market conditions, supporting project turnover and collaborating

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and takeoff experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with estimating software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete electrical estimates for commercial and industrial projects.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift

Jack Hornsby Electric is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator who enjoys building relationships just as much as building competitive bids.

In this role, you'll work directly with customers, vendors, and general contractors to understand project needs, develop practical solutions, and prepare competitive bids for commercial and industrial electrical projects.

You'll play a key role in the continued growth of our company while building long-term relationships with clients and suppliers who trust your expertise.
