Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer to support a team on a large semiconductor electrical construction project in Boise, ID. The role focuses on the electrical scope, coordinating with PMs/Assistant PMs, and managing design changes, schedules, and submittals.

The candidate will handle cost tracking, document controls, and RFIs, working closely with field teams to ensure delivery of complex electrical work. On-site, relocation assistance available and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Project Engineer role.
• Experience on semiconductor or data center projects, electrical scope.
• Electrical construction experience, ideally with an electrical subcontractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Track contract design changes and updates with stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and maintain detailed job cost tracking.
• Coordinate design changes between engineering, field ops, and mgmt.
• Prepare change orders and maintain the change order log.
• Develop and maintain overall project schedule and analyze impacts.
• Maintain submittals and RFI logs for timely reviews.
• Prepare project submittals and RFIs for client approval.
• Read and analyze construction schedules to identify risks and opportunities.
• Maintain document controls for drawings, specs, and records.
• Support forecasting, reporting, and cost control with job cost tools.
• Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors.
