Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking a Project Engineer to support its electrical construction operations, focusing on industrial infrastructure and public works projects. You will handle schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and coordination with owners, engineers, contractors, and field personnel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction experience, with strong organizational and communication skills and a proven track record in public-sector environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience preferred.
• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with industrial construction and/or infrastructure projects.
• Public-sector experience is highly important.
• Experience with water/wastewater facilities, substations, utilities, or similar industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with the administration and execution of electrical construction projects.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, procurement, and cost tracking.
• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and project documentation.
• Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Assist with change orders, pricing, and project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain project records.
• Support project closeout and turnover activities.
• Help identify and resolve project issues throughout construction.
• Work closely with field and operations teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Take on increasing project-management responsibilities as experience develops.
