Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial construction projects in Santa Rosa. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with clients, field teams, and subcontractors, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while upholding quality standards.

Successful candidates will have 5+ years in electrical project management, experience with public works and prevailing wage projects, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical project management in commercial/industrial construction.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plans, specs and estimating.
• Financial management skills including budgeting and cost forecasting.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from award to completion on time and within budget.
• Oversee budgets, scheduling, forecasting, cost tracking, and profitability.
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, and documentation.
• Work with superintendents and field crews to ensure efficient execution.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, and scope of work.
• Monitor progress, identify challenges, and develop solutions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and results-driven professional with a strong background in commercial and industrial electrical construction, including public works projects. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, field personnel, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage electrical construction projects from award through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Oversee project budgets, scheduling, forecasting, cost tracking, and profitability.
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and field personnel.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, plans, specifications, and estimating.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost forecasting, and change order management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office applications.
