Job summary

Stoner Electric, a Prime Electric company, is seeking a Project Engineer to support and perform various electrical project requirements in an in-person Portland, Maine setting. You will help manage permits, track submittals, maintain drawings, and support procurement and change orders while collaborating with project and field teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and/or 2 years of electrical construction experience, plus strong MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
• 2 years electrical construction industry experience or related field experience acceptable.
• Familiarity with software-based estimating, accounting, scheduling and project management systems (Accubid a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring project planning, execution and closure.
• Assist in permitting, scheduling inspections and maintaining files.
• Update drawing sets and project correspondence; organize submittals and O&M materials.
• Help prepare and track job billing; attend project status meetings.
• Support project management and field teams; ensure safety compliance.
