Job summary

Stoner Electric, a Prime Electric company, is seeking a Project Engineer to support electrical projects in the Pacific Northwest. You will help monitor planning, manage permits, maintain files, and assist in estimating and change orders while coordinating with project managers and field teams.

Ideal candidates have a construction management degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with Accubid, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certification in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with software-based estimating, accounting, scheduling and project management systems (Accubid a plus).
• Understanding of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles.
• Ability to learn electrical estimating to produce job change orders and assist with new estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in monitoring project planning, execution and closure.
• Assist in managing permit applications and scheduling inspections.
• Establish and maintain project management and administrative files.
• Research and organize submittals and O&M materials.
• Maintain records of submittals and drawing sets.
• Organize project correspondence and monitor schedule progress.
• Assist in writing and tracking RFIs and Change Orders.
• Support job billing and attend status meetings.
