Job summary

Packaging Corporation seeks an Electrical Project Engineer in Valdosta, GA to coordinate and implement mill reliability programs and maintenance outages. The role focuses on improving reliability of electrical equipment and leading cross-functional teams.

You will define and participate in capital projects, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and manage documentation, spares, and training for optimal uptime. Strong communication and planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• 2–5 years' experience in Electrical maintenance.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and completion of mill reliability programs.
• Develop electrical reliability programs to improve maintenance and reliability of electrical machinery.
• Manage maintenance outages and annual outages with maintenance and engineering teams.
• Oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance projects, training, spares, and documentation.
• Support safety, environmental goals and RCFA processes.
• Plan and execute capital projects for maintenance replacements of equipment.
• Manage contractors and ensure cost-effective project execution.
