Job summary

North American Stainless is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deliver professional engineering services and technical support for redesign, modification, reengineering, and retro-fitting of machinery to improve quality and productivity.

The role focuses on project prioritization, problem diagnosis, and cross-functional coordination with Maintenance and Operations to reduce downtime and optimize equipment utilization while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Technical Degree from approved University/College (BS/BA).
• One year experience recommended in an Industrial Environment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and sets priority for projects in the respective area.
• Analyzes machinery problems to improve quality, productivity, and uptime.
• Redesigns or retro-fits machinery to upgrade performance and reduce downtime.
• Defines project scope, prepares estimates, and coordinates with Maintenance and Operations to retrofit and install.
• Provides technical support to Maintenance for cost control and equipment utilization.
• Ensures OSHA compliance in engineering design, construction, and installation.
