Job summary

North American Stainless in Kentucky seeks an Electrical Engineering professional to provide engineering service and technical support to maintenance and operations. You will redesign, modify, and retrofit equipment to boost quality, productivity, and OEE, while keeping downtime to a minimum.

You will lead electrical engineers and technicians, develop preventative maintenance programs, and coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize plant performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Technical degree (BS/BA) from an accredited university.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Supervisory skills required.
• One year experience needed in Industrial Environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and leads Electrical Engineers and technicians.
• Analyzes electrical equipment problems to improve quality and productivity.
• Redesigns/retrofits electrical equipment to upgrade performance.
• Develops and manages cost estimates, bids, and work orders.
• Sets up Preventative Maintenance Programs to increase uptime.
• Coordinates training for direct reports and monitors safety practices.
