Dunhill Staffing Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to drive capital improvement projects across multiple industrial manufacturing facilities.

You will shepherd projects from conception through commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control while coordinating with operations and maintenance teams. The role is office-based but requires on-site work during installation, testing, and startup, with travel to other sites typically once per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience managing capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, motors, PLCs, and automation.
• Experience with budgeting, contractor management, and procurement.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specs.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical CapEx projects from initial request through completion and startup.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, specifications, and capital requests.
• Design and review electrical systems, power distribution, controls, equipment, and plant infrastructure.
• Manage contractors, engineering consultants, vendors, and equipment suppliers.
• Coordinate projects with Operations, Maintenance, Production, Safety, and other plant functions.
• Track project schedules, costs, forecasts, and risks.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues during project execution and startup.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, specifications, and closeout records.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, capacity, efficiency, and automation.

Job description

The Electrical Engineer will lead electrical engineering and capital improvement projects for multiple industrial manufacturing facilities. This role manages projects from concept and scope development through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is an office-based position but will require working on-site during installation and commissioning. Travel to other sites will be required (typically 1 week per month).
