Job summary

IMEG is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer 1 in Des Moines to lead design efforts on low to moderate complexity projects, acting as project manager or lead engineer. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and consultants to deliver electrical systems for buildings, while managing budget and guiding design through construction.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering required.
PE license required.
2+ years in building-design consulting; 4+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for buildings using engineering software and tools; create designs, specs, calculations per code and IMEG standards.
Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information; build client relationships.
Support project execution with budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination to meet deadlines and objectives.
