Job summary

IMEG Corp is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer 1 based in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves leading design efforts for electrical systems, collaborating with a team to deliver engineering solutions, and ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Electrical Engineering, a Professional Engineer License, and 2+ years of experience in building design. Qualifications

• 2 years of experience minimum required, 4 preferred, in building design consulting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems analysis and specifications.
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and maintain relationships.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling tasks.
• Analyze engineering problems and propose practical solutions.
• Prioritize safety and identify potential risks in electrical systems.
