Job summary

CEMS Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical design for projects from concept to completion. This on-site role in Summerville, SC focuses on interior and exterior power distribution, lighting, lighting control systems, and telecommunications.

The candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering, at least 4 years of experience, and be able to travel for field visits and client design conferences. Knowledge of NFPA 70 is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Familiarity with NFPA 70, National Electrical Code.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and other MS Office programs.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel and perform field site visits and attend client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for projects from concept to completion.
• Serve as electrical systems designer on diverse projects along the east coast.
• Document current conditions during field site visits and participate in client design conferences.
• Attend client design reviews and project meetings as needed.
